Good question, well asked. The Paris Fringe Festival has been planned and organised over the last two years entirely by volunteers, spending their own time - and often money - to bring it all together. If only we could cross the finish line on good will alone!

This application fee will provide a small buffer for us as we move into programming, marketing, and organising for an all around good time in September. Selected artists will pay a 200€ registration fee. After that, we won’t charge you anything extra.

We’re grateful for the time and effort you’re putting into your application, so whatever the panel’s decision, we want to offer you something in return.

Yes! The deadline for artist applications is 31 May, 11:59pm (CEST), so please make sure you submit your application before then (or even better, submit it well in advance!).

Regardless of final programming decision, you’ll get:

• A VIP pass to the festival, giving you access to artist events, backstage spaces and afterparties.

• A ticket to a 2026 Paris Fringe Festival show of your choosing.

If your application is successful, selected artists will pay a 200€ registration fee. After that we won’t charge you anything extra.

• Cost of venue hire 

• Staff payments

• Technical equipment for the festival (lighting etc.)

• Marketing and advertising to get your tickets selling!
